Alpha Media�s WHBC-FM/AM Canton, Ohio, raised $186,000 during the annual �AultCare Wish-A-Thon� fundraiser on August 13th and 14th. The collected donations benefit Wishes Can Happen, a local charity that provides support and funding to children with life-threatening illnesses.
In order to maintain safe distancing and involve as many of the �wish families� as possible, the stations opted for a simulcast program that took place over 36 hours and did not require in-person participation from children or families.
